Be careful what you ask for, is one of the themes that comes to mind when I think about Lily’s War. As well as expect the unexpected. When Eric says to not wait for him Lily is devastated but vows to prove him wrong. She loves him too much not to wait. So for months that is what happens, until she has an unexpected encounter with her and Eric’s best friend Zach. Now things have changed. How can one woman love two different men?
More importantly will Eric be able to accept the situation? Zach and Lily know things can work but will Eric give them a chance?
The age old story takes a twist with Lily’s War, man says don’t wait for me while I am away at war, woman vows he is wrong. In Lily’s War the outcome has a bit of a twist. I was intrigued by the premise of the story and the modern day twist with a strong woman character loving two men. I enjoyed Kristin Daniels writing and look forward to seeing more from her in the future.

Eric, Zach, and Lily have been best friends for years. They've shared the ups and downs of life always knowing the others had their back. Bad timing hits when Eric is recalled to the Marines right after he and Lily took their feelings to a new level. She and Zach continue their friendship with one night of passion that opens their eyes to the possibilities open for the relationship when Eric returns…if only Eric will agree.
Kristin Daniels tell a tale that takes a loving relationship where two guys and the girl they both love open up their world to possibilities that seem so right to Lily. All three have to open their mind and their heart to what they could have. Talking about it doesn't seem to help. Eric has been through hell as a soldier, he's dreamed of Lily to help him through. But Zach has always been his best friend too. He's torn in two with the attempt to decide what to do. The author does a good job showing the thought processes they go through to make a decision outside the norm. The decision isn't possible until Lily entices the two men into trying out what she wants. This is a well told erotic tale.
